Meet the Founder



Tana Lorah is the Founder and CEO of Sparkwise Strategies, a consulting and fractional leadership firm and trusted strategic partner to nonprofits and businesses across San Diego and California.


With 20+ years of executive experience in public affairs, government and community relations, issues management, and operations, Tana helps leaders align stakeholders, strengthen capacity, and deliver complex initiatives with clarity and momentum. Her background includes senior roles at Kaiser Permanente, where she led communications, media relations, community partnerships, and crisis communications in San Diego and served as Interim Public Affairs Director in West Los Angeles, as well as leadership roles in consulting and business development.


Tana is also deeply engaged in the region’s civic ecosystem through civic memberships and board service, including  Chula Vista Rotary Club, Chula Vista Chamber of Commerce, San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and serving as immediate past chair of 211 San Diego and the San Diego Regional EDC Foundation.
